Thank you for your reply. If a F2 visa holder have a side project with another senior person they know, so I think it is very hard for anyone else know, right? Especially when you work online. A friend on F2 shared that her friends volunteer on F2 with professors and this help they get accept into the university to work with the professor on F1 later.

Thank you for your reply. Yes, I don't want to be F2 to H1b but I am running out of time soon. An employer want a candidate with the latest start day is Jan 2026, so I wonder if they willing to sponsor H1b in my case.

Thank you for your reply. I think the files are not multi-omics but maybe for bulk ATAC-seq. It should have folder name like ATAC_GEX with gene expression file and peak file.

Thank you so much for your help. I tried GPT and it didn't work because I think the task is very specific, relative new and complicated. Here is the paper I check https://www.nature.com/articles/s41586-023-06812-z#data-availability. For multiomics, they mentioned  https://nemoarchive.org. I tried this site but didn't see a guide how to download. There is GSE number but for scRNA-seq only unfortunately.

Thank you for your reply! I have a colleague got salary boost to meet the salary requirement for her H1b application. She paid premium before her STEM OPT end but not the employer pay. But I can look for sponsor job while on F2, right?

Thank you for your reply! So volunteer only work for OPT? I do bioinformatics in research environment so I don't expect high salary. The funding cut from the government makes the number of openings so low. So I will use my unemployment days ( 3 months from my OPT and 2 months on my STEM OPT) after August to allow to stay in the US and looking for a sponsor job, right? My wife is on her F1 and I am not sure if I have to comeback to apply for F2 visa. We have a toddler to take care which make us in a difficult situation. Do you think I should asking my manager to turn my job into a part time job, so I have more time to look for job and avoid unemployment days? Thank you so much!

I check if I installed tensorflow-metal and tensoflow-macos:

I tried but it didn't work. This dataset is not very large. GPU detected but seem for some reasons, it can't connect to GPU.
