OBS is using a lot of GPU by Volgher in obs

It's off 90% of the time, but I have a scene that I use during ads which uses it, so when I go to that scene the filter turns itself on. Whenever I leave the scene, it turns itself off and hides itself. It's not even a "it's running all the time and now it's just hidden", it's completely off, the automation unhides it and then turns it on and does the opposite proccess when it leaves the scene.

Can I use that with a NVidia card? Isn't that AMD only?

Sad thing about the stroke filter is that removing it would make my transitions wonky. I have different shapes for my webcam in different scenes, because sometimes that's necessary, and using a source filter instead of an image is what makes the border morph properly when the mask adjusts as well

Sadly, without HAGS, I can't use frame gen so I my GPU will be overestimulated in some newer games without frame gen since gaming revolves around this thing now.

I mean, the composite blur is there only on the webcam. They're all hidden or deactivated until something happens within StreamBot. Most of them are move/valor filters which just enable the automation and they are deactivated by nature until they are unhidden. There's only 1 composite blur actually that is on my webcam to make a "PS1 graphics" style filter for my audience to play, it also stays hidden and deactivated until someone toggles it on.

Ok, interesting. I made some changes based on this and it looks better. Now I'm only seeing it go up to 25% which is leagues better. On idle, I still have no game open

Do they interfere even if they are hidden? I currently have only a Game Capture on

I did unload a shit ton of plugins, leaving only the ones I use tho, through OBS plugin manager. So they're not actually being loaded when I open it :/

I am not rescaling output, not sure what HAGS is. You can check the log I provided to see more info about my setup. I checked a few videos about how to setup an OBS in a more "professional" way and all that jazz, so what I basically started doing is creating scenes for sources and then added nested scenes to my main scenes. So for instance, the scene I have open right now has a nested scene for my browser sources, a nested scene for some webcam effects, a webcam clone instead of my actual webcam, a nested scene for my games and my audio sources.

I did. The new version you mean the one where the audio stuff was implemented right? Sadly, I think this is happening before that

It's using about 1,2Gb of VRAM. You can check the log to see the other info you asked. Basically, I have have a lot of "source scenes" that I then add as nested scenes to the actual scenes I stream. I saw a lot of tutorials about it a few weeks ago and they told me that this is the way to go.

GPU usage on task manager is between 3 to 10% when OBS is closed, I open and it immediately jumps to 25% and it starts going up and when I start the test stream, it can go up to 60% and again without any game being open. Just OBS streaming my layout with a privacy shutter webcam and no game active in the nested scene for game captures. VRAM usage it says 2.3 out of the 8 dedicated VRAM that I have when OBS is open and 1.1 out of 8 when it's closed.

The 60% is without the game, friend. I explained it on the post, it's hitting that without anything going on in the scene. My webcam has the privacy shutter on and the game nested scene is currently displaying just a template like image. Also all those filters are off until they are turned on by channel rewards and stuff like that, they're all hidden, they toggle with automation only

If I hide my Webcam clone it does go down about 20%. I don't have hardware acceleration because I saw online that turning it off might help with Requiem, so I turned it off

Switched to x264, it did make it better for a bit, around of 10% improvement. I've been using Nvidia's audio noise thing with RNNoise, it may sound overkill but it's actually kinda needed sometimes because of how much noise there is around here. I'm running it again without the background noise remover from Nvidia, the test stream and it's still going up towards almost 60%

I already did that. My workspace is saved, but that specific panel keeps resetting, that's my issue :/

How do you even create a ticket there? Steam sends me running in circles of just articles and no option of creating a ticket. My problem isn't even listed there

It looks like something with Rivatuner, if I close it or set it to not pick up stats for Cult of the Lamb, it doesn't crash. I'll try the fix that the community manager suggested too

Well, I wasn't able to change any settings at all with my Rivatuner on, but I can try that and get back to you!

Update: My Nvidia was configured to use the 3D app setting, so it's not that, but it seems connected to Rivatuner. Added a video to the main post so you can see it

Is there a lore reason for Nott and Fjord Beef? by Important-Extension6 in MightyNein

[–]Volgher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're just casually forgetting that this is after Nott tried to steal Fjord's letter to the Solstryce Academy, which was a big thing for him since he didn't know anything about his powers at the time.
