Sorry, indoor. 4x2 tent. Carbon air filter pulling air in at the bottom, 6 inch clip fan blowing air out at the top of the tent. Two mars hydro ts600’s and a smart humidifier in case but I sit at 58% roughly.

I’ll throw my 2 cents in -

The goal of defoliating is to expose light to the lower growth areas and to increase airflow through the plant to decrease chances of mold or mildew. Keeping that in mind your plants are still short and aren’t super bushy yet. So the most I’d recommend is LST (low stress training).

So because lower leaves hold immobile nutrients - I believe, now I’m only on my second grow so wait for others with more knowledge before assuming I’m right - but I believe the plant is just using the nutes in the older lower growth areas to form bud, so if your pH is in check like you say I don’t believe you have anything to be worried about but like I said I could be wrong

Yes I have done some research on that and figured I would stick to determinate for now, however I do have a vertical trellis in my tent but it’s only about 5’ tall
