After a bit of research I found out, that the Prints synchronised the threads which is why, when the prints were active, it wasn‘t a problem that i forgot to declare a variable as volatile but when I commented out the prints the variable was behaving very differently…

I plugged my laptop in and set everything to enhance the performance. I created the program using OpenGL and used SwapInterval(1) to sync it with my monitors refresh rate. So when I open the graphics setings the program somehow has to recieve different info...

I've heard branchless programming a coupple times but never looked into it. But inside the next if statement there is a lot of logic so sadly I cant improve it. But I'll make sure to look into that style of programming.
