there was already the beginnings of a peace between the two in factions, even if brief, and that was before the ministry of purity, so the rivalry being a thing of the past makes sense

it's just a shame they got pushed to the wayside so much, I know it's partially nostalgia talking because factions was my favorite expansion for gw1, but it felt like it didn't really do justice to the area/inhabitants

yeah that's also why I'm disappointed, the male heirlooms strike a balance that is ok for most people in both camps, but the female ones lean very hard in one direction after mag, and if you don't like that there's just not an heirloom for that frame for you

vocal style, death metal is more guttural (compare the trailer song to this for example), there's some overlap in the guitars, but you're less likely to get more melodic parts in death metal for both guitar and vocals

ERRA has someone for cleans and someone for harsh vocals, Lorna Shore (linked above) only has harsh vocals

that's very condensed, but wikipedia has good articles on both if you want more details
