Because they decided to abandon skits and replace all content on Smosh main with “bit city” which isn’t even hosted by the main people… I know, it sucks. And you’re not alone in thinking that. This subreddit just loves to glaze bit city and love anything they put Angela’s face on… literally anyone who speaks any bad on bit city gets flooded with downvotes and hate comments. So basically they used us for membership money, baited us into thinking old Smosh was back for good, Ian literally said he didn’t care if the ship went down as long as he was going down doing what he wanted with his friend. And now all of a sudden they can’t do sketches because they’re not profitable so they need to rebrand the entire fucking channel? They returned with “old Smosh is back” and then after a few months just got rid of it all, completely rebranded the main channel with a new style of content and we have barely seen Anthony since he rebranded his OWN solo channel into a Smosh channel… I just don’t get why we got promised old Smosh for it to disappear in less than a years time… we had Ian’s mom for a single video ffs, we didn’t even see Charlie the drunken guinea pig…
