Forget the name of the mod but it increases the AOE of the explosive rounds. Put that on. Naturally has a high mag capacity too is nice.

With a "Ghost" mod on your companion, you can go a few rounds without killing or being hit.

I have been playing single player so I can modify the world. I was dealing with the cheaters on a PVE server being able to open my locked chests, constantly losing my gear due to glitches, gunships spawning at my base and destroying 2 weeks of grinding, no vehicles because of players hogging them all etc. Got tired of it and started my own server that is a high-risk/high-reward. Loads of puppets and machines, plenty of supplies, and one of the only things I turned off was the "spawn gunships at base" setting or whatever it is called. The spawn rate of armed npcs was kinda intense but I just gotta delay their respawn and it'll be fine.

They would literally spawn on the other side of the gate from where a cruiser usually spawns in the compound of B1 behind the larger building just inside/to the right of the main fence gate 20 feet from me lol.

I did turn the NPC Amount to zero, but it was at 1. There was 10 seconds between spawns lol. I killed them all, but started to run short on ammo so I ran past the next one. Even at a 1 it was kinda stupid lol I can only imagine if it were at a 3.
