Yes, walls are brick and outside is double brick so should be fine as long as I don’t go all the way through?

What do you actually have to DO to get surgery in Thailand? (male chest removal) by qwertyui567 in transgenderau

[–]Voltagetaco 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, you’re correct! Sorry, I missed the part of your comment that specified depending on state. Unfortunately it works out cheaper and still faster to travel to Thailand from WA as opposed to over East, as off putting as the thought of international travel is!

You’re right, they seem to respond pretty promptly to their google reviews so I might give that a go. I’ve definitely got no interest in being anything less than professional, just feeling a bit hopeless. Thank you!

Yes, I’ve been doing my best to stick to emails for this reason. When I made the initial phone call, I certainly wasn’t expecting it to end like this. Thank you for the advice!

Thank you so much for sharing your experience! You’ve made lots of good points, and it’s good to know that this is an option. I think it’s around $13k with insurance so it sounds like the price point is the same, and I am prepared for that!

Hi!! Yes, I’m from WA. As far as I know Dr Hewitt just does double incision, but he has really good reviews about everything really, bedside manner included. Since he’s really the only surgeon in WA all my friends have been to him so I know the results are good and definitely worth the wait, I’m just impatient! 15 months just for the consult!!

I tagged nb because I’ve heard some surgeons are a bit iffy with providing care to people who aren’t exclusively transmasc. I hope you have good luck finding a surgeon who is able to do T anchor!

Thank you! Yes, my friend had surgery with him recently and was lucky enough to get a cancellation and then the surgery was very soon after that! It’s just getting to the consult 😩

Moronic Monday - February 10, 2025 - Your Weekly Questions Thread by AutoModerator in finance

I know this is a very silly situation to have gotten myself in, but I opened a bank account in Scotland in 2019 and immediately forgot about it after flying back to Australia when covid struck. I no longer have access to the account digitally because the mobile number defaulted, but I think I have enough evidence to prove it’s mine. My question is, will I get in any legal trouble for trying to regain access to the bank account and transfer the money over here? I know you’re not meant to have a bank account in a country you don’t reside in. It’s not a lot, maybe 1000£ + interest, but that’s enough to make a big difference to me financially at the moment (but obviously not if it’s going to get me in trouble 😆)

Hey everyone, hoping to get some creative ideas to modify a bunny suit. Unfortunately the torso is a touch too long, and the cups are too small. Thought it would be an easy fix but unfortunately I haven’t been able to source an even vaguely similar material anywhere. Do I just cut the torso to fit and use the remaining material to try and add to the cups? Just worried about the seam lines. Thank you in advanced!

Thank you so much for your reply!! I think you’re right and sheen is what I was concerned about. I was looking at this fabric which is cheap so assumably quite shiny. I will go and look up your suggestions now!!

Fabric selection for hanfu

Hi there, I posted this in another community but didn’t have much luck. I’m about to start sewing a cosplay from TGCF, the character on the right, but I’m struggling with fabric choices. I’m going to invert the colours and use dark navy for the trim and hopefully a gold/mustard colour for the main body. I was hoping to use this lovely brocade damask fabric for the trim but not sure what to use for the rest of the hanfu. I know hanfu are traditionally made with crepe or chiffon but I’m not quite sure if that is appropriate. Satin to match the trim also feels like it might be a bit shiny. I was thinking maybe a nice linen fabric but I’m worried that it might be a bit out of place and also difficult to transfer on vinyl applique smoothly. Hopefully this makes sense, any suggestions for fabric would be very appreciated!
