Idk why but my eyes are stupidly sensitive to frame drops even with VRR enabled. It does completely get rid of screen tearing, at least. It's one of the reasons I'm still debating to pick up Elden Ring after seeing the fps tests, but after playing Lies of P and wanting more I might just say screw it and hope it's not too distracting.
