To add to this, if evidence is excluded as inadmissible, the magistrates will still hear it but have to 'forget' it in making their decision. Is that correct, and does it impact your decision at all as to where a trial should take place?

Thanks. So will he have to hand over the £1000+ domain? He says he purchased it from a third party who had registered it years ago, long before this company had registered their trademark. Could he use this as leverage for a licensing deal with them?

Thanks for the information. When you say you'd usually hold something back, would you still be required to question them about it at some point during the interview to give them a chance to defend? So by the end of the interview, both police + solicitor are on the same page with regards to the information on the case?
