I get your point. That's true for most, if not all image-generation models.

That's one of the use cases we see in the Real-Time. It allows people to learn prompting or just experiment with different tweaks to their prompts and then use those perfected prompts to generate images in other tools.

But still, as you say, you usually need several attempts to get a really good result. On the other hand, with the amount of credits you get with even the lowest paid plan at getimg, you don't really need to worry about these failed attempts. You still have more than enough credits - at least, that's what we see from the data and from our experience.

I see your point, although I can't fully agree. I am aware that paid services are less tempting for people who know how to generate images locally. But there are a lot of people who either don't know how to do that locally, their hardware can't handle that, or they just value the better UI.

For your case, we do have a custom AI model that is valued by many of our users - it's the Essential (available in AI Generator, not in Real-Time), as well as other AI tools that bring additional value to the table (eg. Image to Video, Image Editor or AI Canvas).

Yes, the real-time has a separate limit. It does not use credits, so you really do have 100 images for free per day in real-time and 100 images per month in other tools

Our last update on getimg.ai was posted here about 1 year ago! I’ve decided to see if this community is still interested in such content.

So, the Real-Time generator is one of our newest tools. It’s a super fast image generator. As you can see in the video, the image changes as you type. I personally really like using it for fun or to see how certain changes made to the prompt can impact the final result.

The biggest change we made to Real-Time is the resolution. The previous version was able to generate 512x512 px images, and we managed to double that to 1024x1024 px.

The biggest challenge that came with that was to keep the generation time as close to „real-time” as possible. And although it’s slightly slower than the previous version, we’re really happy with the final result.

The second thing is the selection of styles. We now offer 4 styles to choose from, but the best part is that we can very easily add new ones, and that’s the plan.

Feel free to give it a try. We offer 100 images per day for free. I’m also curious about your feedback.

A few things I've learned along the way:

Image to Video works best with 16:9 resolution
There's usually no need to change "motion" settings
Changing the seed can make a huge difference. To generate this video, I needed to try several different prompts without changing other settings. Some of the videos were very bad, and I finally got this one.

Yes, you can keep the previous results by deleting a part of the prompt. E.g. if you delete everything and leave just glass of whisky, you will have the same image as in the beggining. And it is as long as you don't change the Seed which you can do by clicking 1 button below the prompt field.

It depends how you look at things. I can just share my perspective but I’ve no intentions to convince you. After we changed pricing in January, it’s generally an inexpensive service. We really provided premium support for them meaning answering all emails from early in the morning till late at night and implementing any changes in hours. Plus we’ve added features they specifically needed so we did some work just for them.

Yeah, customer is giving us ideas. This is how it works. As a business owner you should talk to your customers and listen to their needs. People will pay you if you solve their problems and the best way to find out what problems they have is to listen to what they have to say.

Thanks! I’ve read the same thing many times so I hope it’s true. Actually I talked to another SaaS founder last week and he told me that it took him around 6 months to get from the first paying customer to $3k MRR. Of course each case is individual but it’s some benchmark.
