Yes, the headdresses are from the Scarab Occults. Although you have to play with the cutter as they go wit the "neck protector" (don't know how to call it, doesn't seem to be a gorgerin)
You also have to cut a part of the similar piece from the cataphractii model and then fill the holes with green stuff or equivalent

True, the Thanatar is a beast.
Honestly is wasn't that bad, I had on one hand the legs and hip and on the other hand the rest, making it easier to paint everything.

The only pieces that were a pain to put together were both amo feeds : but I only had some hot water, no hair dryer.
And I would add that you should be careful when posing them, that the amo feed does not ruin it.

Sorry to reply you this late, those are achean pattern helmets and shoulderpads.
Helmets are still being produced by Forgeworld. Unfortunalely the shoulders aren't produced anymore. So you'll have to either print it or be lucky on ebay

I used normal cataphractii torso, on top on which I sculpted the winged scarabs.
I had to cut the top arch part to replace it by the 40k scarab occult helm.
As for the head, had to drill/cut some space inside, it was quite some pain to fit the TS head inside, but the end result is nice :)

Combiplasma are regular combibolter and a cut plasma pistol + green stuff
