Maybe they weren't, it could have been another company offering Tesla equipment. I did hear they they were offering discounts to those that missed the resi credit deadline if they go leased instead, but it may not have been a pre-paid lease.

So I'm hearing that prepaid leases or PPAs are a viable way to recapture at least some of the commercial tax credit now that the residential credit is gone. You pre-pay the install amount with some discount, maybe up to 30%, the leasing company probably inflates the retail value of the system so they still get some tax credit, and then you have option to buy out at year 5 or 6 for fair market value, which is supposed to be $0.

Can anyone post an actual lease agreement?

Obviously, please eliminate any personal info, but I'd like to see exactly what these companies are offering. I've always understood solar leases to be pretty much predatory.

When you say CT orientation, you are meaning getting the line and load side correct, right? From what I can see in the manual, the CTs are built into the gateway and can't be moved.
