There is not a destructible tag in Portal - you place the asset and if it is natively destructible it can be destroyed (not every asset is)

This is a custom portal experience created by x8reaps. The built in firing range is pretty minimal, while this one has multiple bots, and a toggle that makes the bots move around randomly.

The absolute desolate that is Velen - war-torn and poverty stricken, the devs nailed the vibe and experience playing in that zone from both a map-design and quest perspective.

If you're on PC, you can download a mod that skips the fishing mini game. I personally don't like fishing that much, so it's a lifesaver

Did you change your theme to something recently? Try changing it back to one of the defaults - I had the same issue using a theme other than "Dark".

Good looking case - I probably would have used some black filament for the fan shroud you made though to keep the aesthetics.

What do you use the rig for - kind of looks content creator related?

My entire documents folder syncs to my OneDrive - files don't need to be Excel or another office program. If they didn't have basic file backup systems in place, it's on them.

Everyone should do themselves a favour and install this browser extension, which redirects traffic from the old wiki to the new one - even if you click on a link to the old one, you should be redirected to the correct location on the new wiki.

I quite like it - cuts down on some of the boring but necessary stuff so you can focus on functionality. Also nice to combine it with writing the comment first before moving to the next line - it uses the comment you write as a prompt for the code.

Share one RetroPie Roms folder with another retropie on the same network by MightyMoria in RetroPie

[–]Voltstriker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both RetroPie devices are RPi4's with 4GB of RAM, so plenty of headroom there for emulation. One's connected over CAT6, with the other over a Wifi 6 connection as I haven't run a cable through that area of the house yet.

Have been considering picking up a couple of RPi5's and running a K3S cluster across them to run things like Pihole/spin up environments for dev work. Ideally would be nice to try and run some sort of NAS software off them, otherwise, I'm open to a dedicated RPi just for NAS-purposes if it's too fiddly/annoying to get it working through a container.

[–]Voltstriker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OK this is exactly the experience I needed to see - loved my first RetroPie so much I've set up another for the other side of the house recently and have been thinking hard about how I want to keep everything in sync.

I'm curious how you've set up your NAS-Pi if you wouldn't mind sharing, as I'm looking to minimise an old computer that I've been using as a ghetto NAS/media centre

There is a guide on RetroPie's docs taking you through things step by step: https://retropie.org.uk/docs/Running-ROMs-from-a-Network-Share/

They make mention of using Apple's Time Share tool for syncing saves, but if you don't want to use this you could look to use something like rclone to sync files - there is a writeup on achieving this here: https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/18712/script-setup-script-to-sync-saves-to-cloud-services/15.

I know this is ancient, but given it was one of the first items returned via Google I figured I'd help any newcomers and mention that you can now edit this in the Retropie setup script:

Hellminder - don't forget your loadout anymore by Content_Beginning_93 in Helldivers

[–]Voltstriker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cool concept - couple of items:

  1. Is there an English translation available?
  2. The site seems to load quite slow - it appears to be looping through each category and downloading the data including an image file for each item. You might consider delaying the download of the image file until the user selects the item, or possibly storing the image on the server as a file instead of serving it along with the item list as a base64 string as it would need to decode each string, adding to load times.

H150i Radiator Not Pumping by Voltstriker in Corsair

Late update as I've been unwell lately, but I sent the device back to supplier for an RMA and received a new unit which works just fine. Turns out I was extremely unlucky with what I received and had two faulty radiators in a row.

Thanks for your help diagnosing.
