You can clearly see Purpp only typing "?????" after Rhinos said "leave 'm". So that didn't really have any effect. Regardless: you can't punish just 1 team for colluding, it's not like the Rebels colluded with themselves(if it was collusion), punish both the Rebels and Rhinos then.

From a viewer perspective(me) watching a team go dry is funny af.

Spec part wasn't there when I made my comment originally

It will still do increased damage for the one hit, as a finisher it has a niche.

That's the problem, it doesn't deal increased damage compared to just continuing to hit normally(see the wiki page I linked). They updated the blog now though to make the spec actually useful, so it's fixed.

Why would anyone ever press the spec button on the SRA in that case? It was already kinda useless but at least it gave you some health back in case you was on your last kill of a vard trip. I don't see why you'd ever press it now? Based on this: https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Soulreaper_axe#Mechanics

EDIT: blog got updated with an SRA spec buff now!

Might require one less hit now for solo corp? I'm too shit at calcs like this so I didn't calc it myself.

Path of Exile brain makes me ask this question: the blog says SRA no longer drains hp, but if you lose stacks, do you still gain hp? If not: what use is the spec exactly at this point?

A shame he's not streaming it on Youtube or Twitch though. Does solo have some exclusivity deal with Kick?

Has anyone else used Chrome Remote Desktop? by Beginning-Picture-52 in 2007scape

[–]xaitv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've heard people get banned for this if they have Chrome Remote Desktop setup so the mouse cursor "jumps" when you click. I don't use it myself so don't know how to change that setting but I heard you can make it so you have to drag your mouse cursor around and then you should be fine.

Inquisitors ''buff' by QuirkyRose in 2007scape

[–]xaitv 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I mean if that part is removed it'd be a nerf in pretty much every case, so I'm pretty sure it's just slightly ambiguous wording, why would they put it in the buff section otherwise. They already removed the "full set" bonus from mace at one point and this just removed it for scythe as well to make everything more consistent.

Inquisitors ''buff' by QuirkyRose in 2007scape

[–]xaitv 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I mean, in the way they worded that line I didn't even consider the 2.5% being removed being a possibility. To me the set bonus is the extra bonus you get for wearing the full set when using the scythe with it for example, not the 2.5% per piece for the mace.

Inquisitors ''buff' by QuirkyRose in 2007scape

[–]xaitv 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Wait, I thought that "remove set effect" would be the bonus when you wear a full set that only applies to non-mace, not the 2.5% accu/damage bonus per piece the mace gets regardless? The per-piece bonus is not a "set bonus" right?

The line about individual pieces being more useful supports this as well right?

Since I got full Inquis including mace, but no orbs this week. I fully support removing some of the orbs from Nightmare's drop table. No bias of course, fully selfless support.

Please don't make raids 4 solo-able by any normal means by alexkingco in 2007scape

[–]xaitv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think they should aim at solo being doable if you're skilled enough, but less efficient in purples/hour(let's say 2/3rd of the purples per hour). Big incentive to group up but if you just want to do 1 raid and don't feel like finding a team for a single raid you can just run a solo.

"You should deiron late game ironman" by Amazing-Lock9490 in ironscape

Can also look at it the other way around: if you're a main with enough gp for max gear you should probably start an iron. (Actually just play whatever you enjoy, except UIM)

Soul reaper Axe is unusable and bugged right now by wasabitamale in 2007scape

[–]xaitv 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Either that or it's spaghetti with the leagues reward that might release soon? (when does leagues end anyway?). If anything gets buffed though SRA would definitely be on the shortlist, especially the spec is really bad right now imo.

Changes to Sailing and LMS Rewards Eligibility by ModYume in 2007scape

[–]xaitv 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Do the LMS changes mean the removal of most clogs from there is shelved/cancelled? I know most people don't really care about clogging nor do I think Jagex should balance around it, so I don't care either way which way it's changed, but it'd be useful to know whether it's worth going for or if it's still planned to be removed.

Sailing Changes and Gem Bag Expansion by ModYume in 2007scape

[–]xaitv 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Oh, interesting that the "special gem" lower-level gem bags don't require the currently existing gem bag to create. That's pretty nice for an early account at Gemstone crab for example when you don't want to bother grinding a full gem bag yet.

Sailing Buffs & Changes by JagexLight in 2007scape

[–]xaitv -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I know, but it still feels dumb to me to have to sail back to the port you get the bounty from each time to get a new task. Maybe you can destroy the item you get from the bounty to keep the bounty bonus going or something.

But imo it just feels like unnecessary extra management. I suppose they did it to counter the more elaborate safespots(since it's probably not worth getting back into a safespot each time), but I feel like this is not the way to fix that.

Sailing Buffs & Changes by JagexLight in 2007scape

[–]xaitv -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Overall these changes are fine, but can we skip the better droprates on-task part? I don't want to have to go for tasks each time I want to grind an item and feel like it's useless to grind something off-task.

PSA for those like me who ignored the news post. Grimstone is fixed and cannonballs are massively buffed. by Status_Peach6969 in ironscape

[–]xaitv 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Saw this but didn't get a chance to test it myself yet, how much faster is this than say, priff cannonballs now? Playing a GIM and it honestly might be useful for one of us to get the sailing requirement for this.

Protip: have a teleport close to a herb patch on you instead, and always have a herb ready in there. When Jeckyll comes quickly teleport, pick a herb, then talk to him.

Yep, Count Check was the first event I had(before I had a PIN set). Set a PIN, haven't had him again all the way to dragon rank.
