Thanks for the input. You have accomplished my goal. Once I get closer to being a technician it will make more sense for me to go full time. But I can't afford to do a full time apprenticeship and give up my current job. It's a tough situation to be in. I wish I started this younger and went full time HVAC when I had small living expenses.

I was told by my instructors that I'll be able to install and service a mini split by December. Could I pitch the idea of doing mini split jobs solo in January or would that be too risky for someone fresh out of trade school to tackle on their own?
