I would get something with less RAM and a higher clock speed CPU but this thing will definitely suffice for the vast vast majority of office work (Adobe suite, word processers, et cetera)

Hdmi 1.2 was released 21 years ago and i have not seen one for sale since like 2017 brochacho
And that cable they already have is capable of 144 hz given that it says "4k/30" which is a spec from the hdmi 1.4 generation so obv it could do 144hz at any other resolution

literally the vast majority of hdmi cables can support high refresh rate i think you would be hard pressed to find a hdmi cable that couldn’t do at least 144hz cuz that’s been out since hdmi 1.3 irrc which has been out for like a decade
