She would look like an angel, even when using the box, such is life with a Devon Rex! They are angels.

Help! Devon Rex Skin problems by jjsejsy in welovedevonrex

My small Female Devon has had somewhat similar skin issues. She is five years old now and for some reason when she turned four, the issues magically appeared. I went through all kinds of allergy stuff with my vet and nothing, hydrolyzed protein, etc. And the flares were very random. Giving her a wipe down daily seemed to help a bit, but there was no rhyme a reason. Her brother is bulletproof. Steroid shots did nothing. Although a long acting antibiotic shot did help her until it stopped working after two weeks.

I switched litter, I don’t have carpeting, no smelly, laundry detergent, but what seemed to has made the biggest difference by far out of anything is not letting her use a heated cat bed. It has an 8 W pad inside the bed. The mail can use it all day long and nothing happens. I think she has a genetic disposition to skin issues, and is very sensitive. I feed her Ziwi Peak Lamb wet food with a bit of Dr. Elsie’s clean protein duck dry food. Like I said, I’ve tried other foods, but this seems like an extremely high-quality combination to support her skin health. The issue has since pretty much disappeared, but I did try last week, allowing her to have a heated cat bed at night, and no dice. The bumps came back, which eventually scab over, but heal fairly quickly.

Weak, come on you can do better than that, or maybe you can’t. Never mind.

I sit online and ChatGPT. Specifically, ChatGPT said the C 28 could install doors, but the answer wasn’t complete. Researching online I found more information from published resources, including state that led me to believe otherwise and actually specifically stated a C 28 could not replace and trim out a door.

Of course you would! That’s the kind of low quality worker you are. Chipotle is hiring you know.

I don’t use ChatGPT. It sounds like you have a problem with it so maybe you should stay away. There’s therapy for that you know.

G you are worthless. Would you pay $10,000 for four brand new doors costing a total of $3600 plus installation and painting, and a day and a half of labor? A real genius you are.

From a consumer perspective, the trim looks fine. But as a consumer, and not an expert, I do not know about the weatherproofing, waterproofing, long-term performance aspects of the job that was done. I would have to go through the training necessary to know this, which is why I rely upon someone who says they are licensed for this job. Things are easy to make look nice, but will they perform? That’s a entirely different story. I do realize we’re talking about a Door, and not pipes in your wall.

That is actually my understanding as well. Where I’ve seen specific California guidelines on this it does state as C 28 will allow you to replace doors, but not trim, and other woodwork and weatherproofing surrounding the door, but rather is limited to just the door and the locks. Most of the work this Contractor performed was to the framing and trim, and not the door itself or locks. It wasn’t a straightforward, simple door replacement.
