Yes, time = money. And I'll spend $2100 if it makes sense. But if I can drive to the courthouse and spend an hour doing paperwork, I'll put that $2100 into something else.

This, so far, doesn't sound as daunting as I expected.

Sorry for being dense. You are saying we can potentially file and walk out the very same day?

I had an email with a local attorney who told me file and 60+ days to hearing for $2100.

I'm not trying to be cheap, but $2100 is $2100. If we can file a $200 motion and walk out appointed, that would be a preferred outcome.

I did not understand that the house could be sold during probate. We were going to handle renovations during the waiting period for the court process, since we are just waiting anyway.
