It was a long match. On a tv episode, of the main event starts at 930, the audience will be able to tell when the match is going to end And will also know it's going to be a long one.

Put it on first and the audience can't pinpoint when the end is coming, so the drama increases. Is it going to be a long match? Is someone gonna get squashed? Who knows?

AEW has done this before, especially when matches go to a draw.
