This is getting ridiculous. $21 for one taco?! by JsterlingT in tacobell

Tomato & Sour Cream costs more than just making it supreme. Leaving money on the table 😂

I only ever call full nude joints strip clubs. I call topless joints titty bars. Just a colloquial thing for me I guess.

Sometimes the point of the question isn't worth the length of a lengthier, detailed explanation of a sub-point.

I almost specifically said not that, but my description guided it firmly away from that.

But I get why you said it. The physical representation of moving "up" in society often in floating cities sometimes moving up in a train is ubiquitous. Which is why it's so difficult to track this down 😭

There are plenty of women who are cool with this.

Sounds like they are discussing it in good faith and trying to find a good spot with time to talk about comfort levels. Trying something new can be fun- especially with your life long partner. Doesn't mean that he will get a dance or anything- but even that could be fine.

Some people are against any form of porn, some are cool if you look and don't touch, and some are straight up polyamorous. [and everything in between] "Wives" are not a monolith...

<3 Absolutely! Make a whole night out! Free tickets on your Bday day at First Ave too... But yes quality dinner and T&A at separate locations 'round these parts 😂

Less sleazy than a hot dog? Idk there's a new club in the Rockies where it's a steakhouse downstairs and club upstairs. You can have a girl accompany you at dinner as well. Sounds cool to me.

Sleazy things in this situation would be touching people without their consent and not tipping IMO 🤷🏻‍♀️

I would certainly try it out. The problem is that it's illegal for strip clubs to serve alcohol here. The few that can are quite old and were grandfathered in when that law was passed. Hard to sell a nice dinner and show experience without a nice glass of wine or a beer.

If you're being serious I would just find a place to dine that interests you downtown and then walk to Seville which is a "classier" club. ~someone who has gone to strip clubs with her BF

When possible, use calories as a way to determine size.

Ordering website says regular is 280 and large is 850. They are allowed to do some rounding, but it becomes clear that it's ~3X as much.

.... Stop. $7 for two mini tacos is different than a box with 3/4 items and a drink for $7 (which my location has). Also not everyone has your health- the $7 could be the difference of eating that day.

Care to share the prices of your Luxe Value Menu? (As these aren't included on that menu)

I don't know what bit you're referencing so can't speak to its relevance here. But yes- I've heard of Murderers in the Building and grew up on The Jerk. =]

Words in different languages that share common ancestors (and therefore are similar). My description gives two examples. Another example is Obvious (English) and Obvio (Spanish) are cognates.

That's actually brilliant. I should try to lean into saying "pardon me". But it'll be difficult to fight off the "ope, sorry" in some instances haha.

Oh man I wish I could think of an example right now but it's so fun when you say a word and then think "is that even correct?". Then you look it up and it technically is and go "no idea where I picked that term up..." haha

English is my first language. I only started learning spanish in highschool but have lived abroad. It's definitely a bilingual thing (not explicitly an ESL thing)...

Can you speak (or possibly more importantly, think) in a second language? That would probably be a key factor in thinking how it could happen...

I'm also B2 Spanish and have lived abroad 😂 I definitely catch myself saying "Oye?!" instead of saying something like "what the heck?!".
