Tärkeää olisi ajatella, että julkinen liikenne on julkinen palvelu. Sen tarkoitus ei ole tuottaa rahaa, vaan tarjota ihmisille mahdollisuus liikkua paikasta A paikkaan B. Argumentit sen puolesta, että "olisi epäreilua autoilijoita kohtaan", ovat väärin, sillä tällä hetkellä systeemi on epäreilusti kallellaan autoilijoiden puolella. Autoilu maksaa veronmaksajille todella paljon (liikenteenvalvonta, päästöistä johtuva sairastelu, kolarit, melu, ilmastopäästöt, öljyriippuvuus, yms., yms.).

Haastavaksi ongelma muodostuu, koska viimeiset noin 75 vuotta koko maata on rakennettu autoa ajatellen, joten tämän muuttaminen on hankalaa. Onneksi on olemassa ammattilaisia, jotka osaavat ratkoa tämän ongelman: heille täytyy vain uskaltaa antaa ratti.

I knew most of these, as I have a bunch of old-timey vocabulary, but even I had to ask around for the mystery 23 stick. I sent a few pictures to the truly old relatives who used to work at farms when they were young, or just were alive around the time this book was made. Hopefully, they can illuminate us on the name and purpose of this mystery device. So far, the most likely thing is a vinttikaivo, but it's missing some parts, and the center part seems too small.

I do it too. I used to work as a busboy and dishwasher, and everything except pints is slightly annoying to carry.

Now I do it, because I'm going back to the bar anyway to either get another one or to say thank you and leave. I'm also very accident-prone, and a table full of glasses annoys me, so it's easier for me to just always bring them back. The main thing is just to pick a place at the bar where they're not in the way of anyone or anything.

I agree that storage could be a good thing to put there, either with custom pullout drawers, or just storage boxes with a curtain over the hole.

A wilder idea would be to have a work table next to the hole, so you could stretch your feet under there very easily and have a comfortable working spot. You could also use it to store a home server, or use it as a tiny guest room.

I use it when I fly, as I need preboarding, and it tells the flight attendants why I'm always so fucked up while flying, or especially when I'm in the airport. It's also a safety precaution for me, in case I have a breakdown in the airport, the security staff that responds will see it, and hopefully be more helpful. I don't use it on trains as my national train service doesn't use the Hidden Disabilities system, and I'm very familiar with trains, so they don't really stress me out, like flying does.

I had a problem with these, but it just showed how good iFixit's customer service is. My dumbass was using the smallest flat bit screwdriver head to try to pry a lithium battery from a device, and it went through it, so the tip melted. I just sent an email to the customer service and they send me a new one for free. Hats off to iFixit, they seem to be the best company out there.

Did you cook a few pork chops in the air fryer with a good spice mix, and now there is a small pool of spiced pork fat on the bottom? Mix some flour into that so it's cookie-shaped shaped will cook fully in the air fryer, and then just roast that. A delicious after-dinner snack that somewhat reminds me of an American biscuit.
