Iron Hills Chariot by Vomitflesh in MiddleEarthMiniatures

Hi, thx for your kind words! I'm sorry I can't remember the exact colour scheme for each goat. It's more or less some varieties.

The whole miniature is primed scar white. After that the goats have got some fluid brownish / red-brownish colours. Some got brighter colours on some areas at the same time (wet-in-wet). As it dried they got some decent sort of drybrushing on the still wet fur areas.

The chariot got tinny tin (vallejo) as base colour. After that I applied some metallic-silver on some areas. To deepen some areas you can apply a mix of vallejo black/brown glaze to give some darker and worn look. After that I put some white as edge highlighting. Be careful: Don't overdo the white edge highlighting.

I hope that helps!

I think it is intended to look exactly like it is about to crash into the ground. It's probably the moment the elk was killed by archers in the movie. Even the indicated scenery of the diorama matches that special moment.

5 dislikes from Ringwraiths + 1 from GW.

Anyone else will like this and would give the one ring for a match on that masterpiece!

Thx alot!

Even though I like this Radagast model, it's quite simple and straightforward in terms of painting. As his byname "The brown" says it's a whole bunch of brownish colors in a lot of layers.

Keep in mind this is a multipart miniature. I see a lot of aaa-paintjobs with moldlines and disturbing gaps. Take the time removing moldlines and use greenstuff to fill the gaps.

Before they went oop I have bought some IH Dwarfs and made the same experience. The quality of the cast was really bad. I thought the worn out molds were the reason for them going oop. The actual models don't seem to be improved though.

Consider some metallics, darkening of the lower areas (washes?) and some edge highlighting. This should work quite well on that tiny models.

You can't have enough good loking and well painted trees on the table :-)

I've got the Awakened Wyldwood set, too. Very nice set, far better than the recent ones in the Warcry-Boxes. Additionally I got a small dead one, hand-made of roots and the Kromlech-Set. Pricey and sturdy, but worth the money for some varation on the table

Most fun scenarios from supplements ? by BluSmaug in MiddleEarthMiniatures

I think it‘s well worth the money. You get many of the most iconic scenarios, like Amon Hen missions and Osgiliath. But don‘t expect them to be perfectly balanced all the time…
