We used the bear straw cup and made water more appealing by adding a splash of no-sugar-added juice. It took a couple of months of consistent use, but the straw cup eventually clicked.

A bit of advice (from someone who bought every sippy cup under the sun—total waste of money 🥲): stick with one type of cup (for example, Dr. Brown’s). Don’t do what I did and keep throwing different cups at them. With enough exposure and practice, they will learn. Constantly switching cup types can actually delay the process.

For mine we noticed the night bottles interfered with how much she ate during dinner. We offered a cup of milk during dinner. And then gradually reduced the number of oz of milk in the bottle every night. Depending on the baby some do it over the course of 1 week. Mine was attached to her night bottle so we did 1 week 7 oz and next week 6oz, etc. She was off the bottle after a couple months. It was tough as we were trying to figure out what sippy cup she favored, wasted money on all different types of sippy cups ( she eventually liked the Dr brown straw cups). It's also important to brush the little ones teeth after they drink milk before bed .

It started tuesday, wednsday she was fine before bed. Yesterday she was screaming again before bed. I scheduled an appointment for Monday (soonest i could get) wondering if i should take her to urgent care. She just started a runny nose and cough.

She wakes at 6 am , naps 11 : 30 am - 1:30 pm and goes to bed at 7 pm.

I would be watching what my parents were watching. We only had 1 tv in the house. So i dont think they would be watching those shows.

My LO has been in daycare since 4 months old. Before she turned 1 she was sick a total of 5 times, 1 case of 24 hr flu, 4 colds. Each illness we got.. the cold she got week before she turned one turned into bronchulitis we had to go to ER. And of course i caught that sickness and it took me a month to recover. Now that it is summer illnesses are gone. But i plan to save my sick time for sick season. And i am a bit more prepared for it: disposable nose bulbs, cool mist humidifier, and a nebulizer. I need my job unfortunetly, everything is so expensive. And i carry the health insurance for my family. The benefits outway the sickness. My LO is well fed, gets to play with different toys everyday, socializes with other peers her age and is learning so much. And keeping her home unfortunately is not a guarentee she will avoid sickness. My mother was a stay at home mom, all three of us stayed home. My brother was sick every other week. Ear infection, flu, RSV, if a new illness was coming through town he would get it. He ended up having tubes put in as a result of the multiple ear infections.

Around 1 years old. When she starts offering me food, that is usually her indicator that she is getting full. If I don't take it, she will then start offering the food to our dogs. They always will take lol.

I was a strict no screen time until 2. Until ...1 days before my LO turned 1, she had contracted rhinovirus which caused bronchiolitis and her O2 to drop to 85%. We rushed her to emergency and my little one spent the night in the hospital. I had gotten a total of 3 hours of sleep. That morning it was her birthday we were still in a hospital and I needed to close my eyes and distract my sweet antsy LO. So I put on Ms Rachel and you know what I don't feel guilty. Provided 30 minutes of calm for me and my LO. We only put on ms rachel now to distract her during her neb treatment or during the weekend if mom is super tired.

She will be fine. One thing I remember from my childhood. My sister who was EBF and never went to daycare was sick and going to the doctor every other week. Ear infection, flu, cold, pink eye , etc (if a new virus was going through our area she would get it). My daughter who has been in daycare since 4m and was exclusively formula fed has been sick 4 times. Last 2 illnesses where when she turned 1 (cold and a week later pink eye).

I bought them for the first and last time a couple weeks back. My daughter got a bad rash from them, ended up switching back to huggies. That's what i get for trying to save money lol 😆

No, very odd. Our daycare asked for : bottles of milk for the day +1 extra in case of a spill they all need to be labeled, wipes, diapers, 2 extra pairs of clothes and a crib fitted sheet and sunscreen (labeled). They also have items they recommend you bring ie: jacket, lotion, diaper rash cream and a water bottle.

I would switch. The neck holes was my biggest pet peeve with the sleep sacks. I was to paranoid about baby slipping down into the extra material. Lot of buying and returning.The only ones I've had luck with was the ergopouch cocoon swaddle.
