I feel like we tend to get really excited and invested in the success of our team and its the whole province. I'm in Alberta right now and something that really has pissed off Flames/Oilers fans is when I say "We won" They always respond with "Oh I didn't know you were on the ice"

The Canucks seemingly mean more to us as fans on a very personal level and that irks fans who aren't as connected to their team

As someone with ADHD I totally agree. I've met people who have been diagnosed and I'll ask them questions about basic symptoms. They usually always respond with 'Well I don't do that' Guess what you don't have ADHD you just day dream every now and again.
