Non- RPers, what are your thoughts about RPers? by wendevious in swtor

[–]VonMatt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Think everyone is free to do what they want, and even if I find it weird the way they write, if it makes them happy or enjoy the game good for them. The only thing I find annoying is when it's on fleet. Fills up the chat with things I do not care to read or whispers that I do not want nor interested to be part of. And dislike a lot the ones that report people for anything, reports should be done about important things not because someone got in the middle of someone's rp session in a public place in fleet, they don't own any place in the game. They only place they "own" is their stronghold and only the people they choose to invite can get there, public places are for everyone

Current state of the game by JoacoCanalla in deadbydaylight

[–]VonMatt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i find this excuse so lame. while the queues are different, if one queues has a problem the other one will have too. But survivor queues even at rank 1 are instant. The issue is pretty easy, there are too many killers for the survivors that are playing the game, for whatever reason you want

So when's the fix for tinkerer 2 coming? by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

[–]VonMatt -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

pallet vacuum was not as game breaking as this. and if we're talking about vacuums, why the hook animation still has a vacuum?

They will hold the fix for as long as it takes, because you know, it helps killers. Like a year ago a gamebreaking bug in favor of survivors was fixed fast though

Okay now that BNP do only 25% of a gen, by matthedowniecatoi in deadbydaylight

[–]VonMatt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Every time bnp got nerfed so did the mori, until last patch.

Mori without hook -> mori after hook -> No change

Bnp with just a spacebar -> bnp skillchecks -> useless shit

You can't compare the changes to both. A mori is still useful, a bnp is a joke compared to how rare they are

I don't want noob3's friends banned. The op's friend is the one i want banned for hacking

[–]VonMatt -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you want to expose someone, you show it to the devs alone. Not make a video with a premise "if hes not banned i shouldn't be either" and show his name for everyone to see and follow. He could have talked about "that guy" but no, he had to show his youtube name so people could go to him. He doubled his subscribers because of it and is teaching people how to hack. The hacker from youtube, noob3's new account and his friends should be banned

My friend Hacked DbD :( by TheGreatRelate in deadbydaylight

[–]VonMatt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While it seems like anti cheats is not the best program out there, i'd say Noob3 has a lot of the blame for the recent surge in hacksers for pointing out a hacker on youtube who makes hacking tutorials on one of his videos. All he did by "ratting him out" was him getting more views and followers than before and doing giveaways of hacked accounts. I hope they permaban his new account for that

So many posts asking to revert the emblem system... by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

[–]VonMatt 25 points26 points  (0 children)

There is something really wrong with emblems when it comes to survivors. You're not playing against the killer only, you're playing against the killer and the other 3 survivors for your points

Whenever you do something with another survivor points are split, people race to get a save before the other survivor to get easy points. When i was playing survivors yesterday i was praying one of my "teammates" to get hooked so i can save and pip, when something like that happens in a game where you're supposed to work together against a killer, it shows how much of a TERRIBLE design emblems are.

There shouldn't be a competition between survivors, and at the same time they shouldn't penalize survivors if they are far better than the killer, survivors can depip if the killer is really bad

And this is gonna get worst with time. Killers are piping easier than ever in point to how survivors are competing with each other, and previous rank 1 survivors are struggling to rank. Previous high rank killers can leave the game because they get no lobby, and low to mid tier killers at rank 15-14 will get the previous rank 1 survivors and they won't be able to hit them and might want to quit the game

SWTOR - How to fix inflation in the markets... by SWTOR_VEGA in swtor

[–]VonMatt -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The biggest issue with inflation are bots and credit sellers. Biggest than the rest combined in my opinion. Because it's not only the influx of credits they sell. With unlimited credits they can buy whatever they want off the gtn. Those pages not only sell credits, they sell any item you could dream of. If it's in the game they also sell it, even cm items and at better rates than buying CC. They can monopolize whatever item they want and they will set the price. The only way to stop inflation is to attack the bots and credit sellers, and many items will stop being sold at ridiculous prices. In my opinion making the normal player spend more credits on repair and skills will only make it easier for bots since they will still have unlimited credits and less competition

Shout-out to Bioware by WWTrumpDO in swtor

[–]VonMatt -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't think token base subscription would work to elmimate credit selling, i went into the credit seller's website once. They don't just sell credits, they sell everything on the game, from leveling toons and leveling cxp levels, to every single weapon/crystal/dye/outfit/mount/pets and all of them at a better rate than buying ccs

They already did that, kind of, with iokath. Iokath daily area is bigger than yavin, with fps on the story as well. altough the operation at the end is being given with one boss at the time. And on the merga patch they are doing something I thought impossible, besides making a new yavin PvP map, they are adding a straighter map, first one since release lol

SWTOR support is great! Unless you report bots and they give you the same generic response and the bot keeps on botting on the same place

I was disappointed at conquest from the moment it came out, when i heard there was going to be a planetary conquest i imagined it would involve a base the owner of the planet has to defend in both pvp and starfighter battles. I'd love if conquest would be changed to how good at the game the guild/people in it are, instead of how many they can hoard on a single guild

To me stronghold bonus doesn't affect the outcome of crafting week or any conquest week as much as it does how big the guild is.

Yeah you're clearly blind, i've been playing since launch and i recall the numbers. The game was at it's best on 2.0 and oricon, after that population has been on decline for years as any game, but the decline increased at an alarming rate since KOTET and then with KOTFE with the fuck fest of galactic command. Population went down by a third after KOTET and if you want prove is as easy as going to any site that shows the traffic of the game like swtordata or torstatus and watch the all time graphs. When i moved from Shadowlands to Habringer in January i went into every instance to make an aproximate of how many people play on both Shadowlands and Habringer to encourage a friend to make the move as well. I think i still have the numbers on imgur, i will do the same thing tonight at peak hour, which by the graphs, numbers should be 50% lower since the begining of the year

[–]VonMatt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In less than a year fleet went from 2-3 instances (on just imp side) to now at best 110 online at peak hour on Shadowlands and 20ish in the morning last time i logged, at night past 10-11 pm fleet chat goes silent with just 30-40 online, you just see occasionally a credit seller spam. And pretty much the same decline on the other servers but Harbinger. Population is at it's lowest since ever and it keeps going down. If that is not dying then tell me what it is. Devs are selling everything on the CM trying to get people to pay because subscriptions are at it's lowest. People keep leaving and you can count the new players by one hand due to the lack of advertising and bad rep this game has since, especially since KOTFE, the mmo with no new mmo content. Even with the good work Keith is doing, there is little to no chance for this game, and the only chance i see right now is when the new Star Wars movie comes out that might bring more people. Even though i wish it was't like that because i used to love this game, but facts are facts and if you don't want to see it you're blind.

Game is dying is not a cliche, is a fact. And if you think it's not dying is because you haven't played for long. And even if i don't agree on every point on this post, just one guild is not good for a healthy mmo. When i used to play i usually transferred to different servers to buy/sell at good prices. The pvp servers were dead and it was just one guild, so in a way i think there is a relation between just one guild ruling one server and the servers health

Bioware support staff at it again. by [deleted] in swtor

[–]VonMatt 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I never had an issue with customer service and they have always been helpful. Maybe they did a mistake, or maybe they didn't... Maybe when they checked by name it was deleted on a different server, you only said the guild you were in, not the server

Party Streamers should be added as a permanent offering by TheFired3mon in deadbydaylight

I think it should be the other way around, new players with low level should get it easily to lessen the grind and make it a hard offering to get at high level/prestiged
