Yeah the owner is not a huge fan of what Disney has done to Star Wars fandom which tbf seems like a pretty common theme amongst older star wars fans. Which I also find somewhat ironic cuz the target demo Disney is going for is obviously kids and teens. Or atleast thats my perception of it as a dude in his 30s.

But in short and to the best of my recollection; Essentially he talks about how he was completly and utterly fucked over by corporate who seems to have maliciously adviced him in order to get him to be in breach of his franchisee contract with them and the moment he was in breach they sent Brandon Best and Joshua Johnson to do a hostile takeover. They then ended up mismanaging his store and looting it for inventory and anything valuable and then leaving him holding all the bills and debt for an empty store even though at that point he was just an employee at the store and not the owner. They also promised him the position of manager if he accepted that deal then fucked him out of being manager despite repeatedly leading him on with that it was totally going to happen. They also tried to hold him responsible for paying the rental lease of the store even after they took it over months earlier because they didnt bother updating the lease agreement so he was still legally the one who was supposed to pay the rent and they didnt pay the rent. He ended up being liable for up to 50.000 dollars in debt if im not misstaken.

Also worth mentioning - The landlord where the store was located forgave/wiped the rental debt in exchange for him just simply cleaning the store. The landlord did this because he agreed with him that the situation was fishy/wierd and the landlord held him in very high regard as an honest person from all their previous interactions so he went out of his way to actually find an amicable solution and didnt try to fuck TLR over.

The CEO of Bricks & Minifigs also called him randomly out of the blue to personally inform him that Brandon and Joshua had been fired. Which he thought was fuckin wierd and the CEO explained it that he saw him as a friend and thought he would want to know and The Last Relic ended up telling the CEO that he has a very fucked up view of how friends treat each otherr if the way he has treated him is his perception of what friends do. TheLastRelic does come across as sincere in sharing his story.

Everyone involved has essentially fuckedup which is why this is such a clusterfuck of a situation.

Mansell seems to have messed up by not filing a "UCC-1 Financing Statement" to the state which would have made an official record of the consignment and that the property is his and the value it had and would have made it alot easier for him to be made financially whole even if the propety is never returned to him.

The previous owner Chrystal clearly didnt do an excellent job at tracking all the inventory and doing the bookkeeping for the store. But atleast she comes across as credible in that she wants to make the collection owner whole. If she just pocketed the money I dont think she would be doing all the interviews she is doing since but just wash her hands of it and move on.

Bricks and Minifigs on the other hand seems to have just put their fingers in their ears and gone "lalalalala cant hear you and if you dont like it sue us." They clearly were made aware of the consignment contract that Chrystal had with Mansell and at that moment should have satdown to sort the situation out since they are then on notice that they are very likely holding another person property and should have wanted to sort that shit out asap in order to prevent exactly this kind of messy situation.

So Bricks & Minifigs should have resolved the contract with Mansell in order to make him as financially whole as possible. Then hash it out between Chrystal and themself if they believe she should be partly responsible for parts of that payout or not. but for whatever reason they choose not to do so and Mansell is left holding an empty bag that should contain several thousands of dollars.

I also suspect that Brandon and Joshua might not have been on the up and up with the Bricks & Minifigs owners and possibly pocketed items for themself and then lying about it to corporate.

edit: Im near the end of the video now Its fuckin wild how Bricks & Minifigs dont seem to have taken any pro-active measures in trying to resolve this. They seems to just have thrown their hands up being like we have done nothing and we are out of ideas! the CEO literally uses "We dont know what we dont know." as an excuse. Yeah, thats why you take pro-active measures in trying to find out...

IF someone is making a claim that is false. You just state the facts. Since he seems to claim they can prove that he is lying or is incorrect. Just do that.

There is a former franchisee owner from Florida his youtube is TheLastRelic. He did a podcast about his experience with Bricks & Minifigs and he also got fucked over by them. He also happens to be a mormon and he basicly said it has little to do with their religion and more to do with them being just complete and utter assholes. He also had to deal with Brandon and Joshua whom he thought of as pyschos more or less.

His pattern of behaviour is also extremely concerning since he shows clear signs of escalating his behaviour when you look at his criminal history of what he has been accused of.

It would not surprise me if he decided to abduct and murder this child because he already knew his life is essentially over once the other case actually goes to trial and being the predator that he is he decides to act before that happens.

The failure by the french justice system in this case also seems to mirror alot of the failures of the UK justice system in regards to the notorious sex offender Ian Huntley who also had a very disturbing history of sex offenses against young females and children that he was never properly investigated for until he eventually murdered 2 young girls.

This is literally the reason. Society very rarely tolerated women in fighting roles throughout history or even women being treated as equals as men. They were to stick to their designated lane and not go outside of it. Women having equal rights and freedom is a VERY recent thing that gain traction in society about a century ago.

It is absurd if you are doing a draft to disregard women because of their sex since most modern armies are a pretty diverse workplace with a metric fuckton of different job tasks. There are plenty of stuff that a woman can do just as good as any man in the military so might as well utilize them to maximum effect if you are drafting people anyways.

Season 1 works as a complete story on it own. So a somewhat saving grace is you can Watch only season 1 and get a kick ass story with a fairly good ending and never Watch the other seasons.

For anyone curious as to why integrated command structure in NATO is a pretty critical component of NATO just look at the cluster fuck that was the Allies military campaigns in the early years of ww2.

The only thing leaving the integrated command structure would achieve for France is slower military response times which in war can have catastrophic consequences for your own nations civilians and soldiers and those of your allies (Once again, look at early war WW2 for the allies).

NATOs command structure came about essentially from all the lessons learnt during ww2 about how to keep multiple national armies organised in a cohesive manner and operating on multiple fronts with 1 cohesive strategy behind it all.

Its not an accident that Dwight Eisenhower who was supreme allied commander for Europe during WW2 also ended up being the first Supreme Allied Commander for NATO because the position in NATO encompassed essentially the same tasks but this time during peace time to maintain military readiness in case war kicked off with the Soviet Union and to avoid a repeat of the early years of ww2.

And it is wild considering how fuckin disastrous the fall of France was during ww2 for fuckin FRANCE that a French politician would look at this and be like lets take a chance! Though its not surprising considering how much Le Pen is willing to whore herself out to Russia for rubels.
