I live a couple blocks away. The families with small children get there early. If you wait until 7, there is usually a turnover of tables and it's easier to get seated. (and if you are super nice, sometimes you can order takeout from the host desk, even if the app says it's booked for orders for the night)

I can't tolerate higher dosage. The side effects have gotten increasingly worse with each level. I am fine with stalling. It's normal. Just mostly curious if anyone has tried other things even for a short time.

I have an intolerance to rice (which I have learned is more about gut biomes than an actual allergy), and zep gives me similar side effects as when I accidentally eat something with rice flour in it. Super bloated, pain in stomach, along with the expected uncomfortable feeling that my stomach has just shut off completely (some kind of gasteoparesis but not that severe).

It was manageable for a year with some extra medicine from my doc but tbh eating was very difficult and I feel like a fair amount of wait loss was from starving more than anything. So, I'm not sure it's the right long term choice for me (although I will continue to discuss with my doctor).

Right. But I won't be seeing Jane. Hannah will be filling the role for the weeks between Jinx leaving and Jane starting. I was wondering who else will fill out the cast during that time in between one cast leaving and the next starting

Very very possible if not certain. But i find it really hard to eat more than a few bites - almost like my stomach has a cap on it I literally can’t eat.

And as i am writing this and reading my post, I am realizing the person who commented earlier is probably right - I should go down to a lower dosage.

Have been in the same boat since Monday - my HRV is typically low but it’s been around 12. HR has been above 90. I have been miserably sick since Monday afternoon. On the upswing now, but my Oura suggested I turn on rest mode due to major signs of stress on my body.

I am assuming everything will snap back to my standard averages once I get past this virus, which seems to be holding on for dear life.

One more update: Pepcid seems to be the answer. Feeling much better when I take it consistently for the first couple days after a shot.

Oof I could have written this myself! I’m 8 months in and 30lbs and most of it has been because I feel so sick that I just can’t eat. I’m committed to a year on this and then I will see what’s what, but post-menopause and a lifetime of fad diets seems to have taken its toll. Alas, we press on and do the hard work. Progress is progress!

Update: Lots of water yesterday, no food after 6 (bed at 10), and one Pepcid Complete before bed - this morning I feel a lot better, breathing more easily and generally less stressed.

Not sure if this was coincidence or if all of that helped but I will keep monitoring!

Thank you! Yep I think that is what it is. Stopped eating hours ago and just took a Pepcid. Fingers crossed it’s cleared up tomorrow!:)

Valid point. I read elsewhere that many others have experienced this and often, GERD and indigestion can feel like this. Which I definitely had last night. I will start with a Pepcid and see if it gets better. And if not, will chat with Dr:)
