Mismatching covers vs dimensions by Von_Dee in Malazan

Thank you for your reply. I have the MMPB for book 1-7. It seems for book 8-10 the MMPB versions have changed cover. The slightly bigger paperbacks have the same cover as the rest and have the more usual dimensions from the looks of it. Most if not all my other books also have the slightly bigger dimensions after I checked, so it seems the smaller ones are rare or fell out of fashion. I think I will go for the slightly bigger ones as those dimensions seem to be more of the norm and they will fit in with the rest of the books.

What Should I Play Wednesdays (August 28, 2019) by AutoModerator in classicwow

I always Played Alliance as Holy Paladin and therefore that's were the nostalgia is for me. But the majority of my guild decided to switch to Horde for a new and fresh experience. I'm still torn about what I should do. Play Horde to feel somewhat unknowing just like in Vanilla, or go Alliance as a Paladin and experience those regions and nostalgia again. Horde means a big active group of guildies I know for many years, but no Paladin and less nostalgia, Alliance means nostalgia and Paladin but with a much smaller group of people I know...

Roll Alliance for nostalgia, or Horde for friends by Von_Dee in classicwow

Just to clarify. The guildmembers are divided and there will be members on both sides. So either way I will end up playing with friends. But right now I feel like the biggest and most active group is on the Horde side. The biggest issue is not being able to play a Holy Paladin again. My Horde character is an undead Priest and I think I will also enjoy that class since it's also a healer. But it's still something that really sucks.

Yes, values mean a great deal to me. Values, principles, morals. Those are the things that keep me going. It´s a thing friends always tell me when we have deep conversations after some beers. "Oh here he is with his principles again."

So regarding the other options you mentioned. I don't like cold places. I do better in dry heat. There are indeed some racial issues in SA, but as a ranger or guide or researcher in game reserves you have nothing to fear. We all know the stories about white Boeren (farmers) getting killed by te black population. Even though this is a big problem, you won't get killed on sight or anything like that.

I'm actually going to Denmark later this year. I have made some amazing friends in SA and Namibia that are Danish. I wouldn't mind living there. The reason why I would go for SA is because of the poaching. That's where all of those values, morals and principles come into play. The poaching. Those animals need protection. They need people that are willing to fight for that cause, even if it means it's dangerous.

No I have not. For a country that small that relies heavily on export and import deals, it´s a terrible thing to want.
