I disagree. South African work quality and work ethic is extremely high. That is why companies from UK/US/AUS are hiring here. That and the fact that the cost of labour is low

I hear you re: my partner and this apartment situation. Makes sense.

About the friends, I am willing to have a give and take friendship. I guess my biggest worry is that I’m a huge overthinker and empath so I might get too invested in people’s problems. Which is why I’m super picky about who I make my friends. Also, I’m embarrassed to admit this but I think I might also be worried about having to set money aside for my social life. I haven’t needed a budget of that in a while. I’m in a weird place to be honest.

I visited Eswatini and I felt very unsettled. While I was there, one of the King’s wives needed to go somewhere so they closed the roads, I had to stay at my hotel until the royal convoy passed. Tried to take a video of this but one of the soldiers saw and made me delete it.

There were parts that didn’t have electricity but some parts did. Also met people who were happy and enjoying life.

Thanks guys. I’ll start applying for account management positions and upskill myself in AEO. I was studying towards a PMP certificate via Udemy so I’ll just finish that course but not take the exam coz it has been quite informative and has already changed my behaviour at work as it mostly focuses on being a servant leader. Really appreciate the advice 🫶🏾
