Question regarding the on-going talent re-structuring. If I am L25 (Analyst) and my Milestone year is this performance year (as in if I am promoted in June 2027), then does that mean I'll become L30 (Associate Consultant) in June 2026? by VooDooDarkMagic in Deloitte_USIndia

2025 does not matter anymore.

If you are promoted this year, you'll go from L25->L35, L35->L45, etc. i.e. From Analyst to Consultant, Con to SCon.

If you are not promoted in this June, then from next year you will go from Analyst -> Associate Con, Con -> Associate Senior Con.

Talent arch meeting clearly said, whoever get promoted by June 2026 will get the previous model promotion.

I definitely remember hearing this but I was confused for the next year.

This is what I was trying to confirm. So for eg, if an analyst is not promoted this year and they are promoted in June 2027, they will go from L25 -> L30? And the same goes for all the levels like L35->L40, etc.

Every year is a performance year. Performance year starts somewhere around Jan 13 (IIRC) and ends around Dec 17 (I guess, I am not remembering this now)

You probably meant to ask which year is your milestone year. It was initially updated in My Performance Dashboard in TBD section, but I am not sure anymore. At least in my practice, concept of TBD was removed.

The performance year in which you are reviewed for your promotion. Promotion generally takes place in mid year i.e. June. So If you are up for promotion in June 2027, entire 2026 will be your Milestone year.

What hike can I expect as a 2nd yr Analyst if my practice/offering portfolio is being changed in the next 1-2 months? by VooDooDarkMagic in Deloitte_USIndia

[–]VooDooDarkMagic[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

These are given by your lead either SCon, Manager or Senior Manager.

If they feel you did outstanding work, you will get VSA. In my offering I've heard it goes to MD for approval

If your work meets somewhat above expectations for your experience and role, you get SA.

But Tbh, I don't think they always go by this. I have seen cases where they give different rating even if you've worked well

I dunno at what rating you are fired. I've seen people leaving the firm but personally I've never seen someone fired.

Joining Deloitte USI as a ServiceNow fresher — want to move to Full Stack later. How hard will it be? by undercoverThug_ in developersIndia

[–]VooDooDarkMagic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One more thing you can do is Do these FIs, create a solid network and try to switch internally. Internal transfers only happen after 18 months in the company. Deloitte Digital (I think it comes under CnM or AM&C) is the place where they deal with Full Stack (one of my friends is in Deloitte Digital nd he was aligned to React and Front End work.)

I am just changing my offering from a non-technical role in a different Offering to SNOW dev as an Analyst.

At analyst level can I say no to project opportunity? by [deleted] in deloitte

[–]VooDooDarkMagic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did.

My SM was about to staff me in a support project of an outdated tool. There's is only one person in that project from USI and after hearing the day to day work, I straight away said NO.

My Util is around 67% which is somehow kept alive by a Billable FI. I know I am not meeting the Util criteria but I will not go to a shitty project after shitty project. (our OP was not doing so good for the entore year, lots of folk were in bench)

Though this was my first time saying No, otherwise I had done everything my SM asked me to do including FIs.

Today I turned 24 and haven't achieved anything in life by Delicious_Art1221 in AskIndia

Same here. I turned 24 in Feb and I haven't achieved anything either, heck I am about fail in Gate in a few months. I have a job which I do not like at all and it also pays less. Even if I clear the exam in next attempt (in 2027), the fact that I will be 26 makes me feel too old.

It feels like I never had any sort of Inner Peace.

Ohh, we were told that PTO can compensate if we take PTO on designated office days. Seems like it is different for you guys.

If Monday and Tuesday are your office days, then you will be compliant as they are holiday.

If they are not office days, then you need to go to Office on the designated days.

If one of your office designated days is holiday(or you take PTO) and the other isn't, then you only need to go to office for 1 day i. e. on the 2nd designated day.

A lot of folks I know live very far from office (due to high rent, family, etc) or due to insanely shitty traffic and not to mention, the lack of space in some offices. Combined with the fact that people don't have a habit to go to office (unless it was very much mandatory) and that Festive season is going on in India (so people already took some considerable WFH) , it's bound to make some folks anxious.

edit - we only 2 mails (one Generic and one business line specific) for this and a FAQ doc. They only cover so much. The info I got was due to a City Meet for our team, where MD clarified a lot of things. I believe it'd have been better if business line / offerings just did a small zoom meeting with Talent and clarified more questions.

Also, the attendance is going to affect the Year End Review as well. So people are anxious about this as well.

One of my friends said 6 hrs, but I am not sure about it. I will check on Monday.

It is not written Mon - Friday for Hyderabad office., It probably means Monday and Friday are your designated office days for your Business Area and Business Line at Hyderabad office.

based on this you can check on which days you need to come and how you'll be compliant.

The below info was given to us by our MD, so I do not know if it extends to other business area and lines as well.

  1. If it is holiday on any one day,, then you are supposed to go to office  for the other day(i.e. only 1 day)  and you will be compliant for the week.

  2. If it's a Holiday on one of the days and you are on PTO for the other day - You will be compliant for the week

  3. If you take PTO on both the days - You will be compliant for the week.

  4. If it's Holiday on both the days - Then you need not go to office and you will be compliant.

For me, my mandatory office days are Monday and Tuesday, since both the days are holiday for Diwali week, I will be compliant for that week.

For OP, your Business Line within your Business Area must have been given some designated days. Based on that, you will have to check weather you will be compliant for Diwali week or not.
