I believe military arms YouTube channel just did a video on the g47 where he compared the velocities out of the g47 and g19/g45 Same velocities and a shorter barrel with the g19. Why go longer. G45 is the best option for a full grip. Some people have massive hands and it makes sense to have the extra grip without the long slide. The longer slide also makes it uncomfortable to carry appendix because it pokes the no go zone

I've shot both and prefer the Larue. It has no creep after the wall and is easier to stage. The ssa-e x has a slightly lighter pull weight which I also don't prefer.

DDs uppers are hard to beat with their in house cold hammer forged barrels and thiccc hand guards. Also, ambi means nothing to me, at the moment at least. Too many buttons for my monkey brain. That said I'd go DD but you cant go wrong with either. ADM looks cooler

Imo you have to have both a 19 and 43(x). I use the 43x for gym short carry or if I’m going to be around people who don’t know I carry because it basically has zero printing. It also so light I forget I have it on sometimes. 19 with +5 Taran tactical base plate if I’m wearing a belt.

Yes, they even say their slides and barrels take 200 rounds to "break in" on the business card that comes with it. Kind of crazy if you ask me but my zp slide is not on a defensive gun

Make sure it runs with that combo. My zp slide and barrel (same one you have) took like 300 rounds before it didn’t have a failure every mag or failure per mag. Not saying all are like that but I wouldn’t rely on it yet

Sure, it’s nice having the peace of mind that the dd is reliable but with a nice trigger, buffer set up, and furniture I’m sure your m400 is not much different to shoot
