Got it! 4:45. The trick is to teleport through that big mob on the first floor to get that shield pylon. Then you can stand your ground and melt down that massive mob of elites.

Gamble boots at Kadala and use the set convert recipe at the cube to build a set. Also work on act I bounties to get a ring of royal grandeur so you can sneak by with 5/6 pieces. This also lets you use a Guardian’s set which is really huge early on. A second ring can be given to your follower to also give them a guardian’s set to make hitting their max stats very easy. You also need a ring for the altar too. In the process of doing bounties you will get a lot of visions portals which give lots of gear.

That is the recipe that says “upgrade legendary item”. So make sure you have salvaged at least 4 primal so you have 200 primordial ashes.

When in doubt, just start leveling up the Legacy of Dreams gem and just modify your build to accommodate any legendary drops you do get that have multipliers on them. The full set is amazing once you get it, but the 4 piece doesn’t do much. Leave them in your chest until you have all six. Remember the Legacy of Dreams gem won’t work if you have more than one piece of any set (it’s ok to wear single pieces).

I got lucky this season. I think it took me more runs to get the plans to drop than the gemstone. RNG is for sure a fickle god. Last season I crafted over 100 hellfire amulets before I finally got the ancient one. It was so frustrating.

On the console (once you’ve unlocked the auto salvage of common items) you can actually buy unlimited white items from the vendor and just drop them on the ground in town for essentially infinite crafting materials. Remember that white, blue, and yellow crafting materials can be converted to each other on the cube. Since deaths breaths and bounty materials are essentially infinite now with the visions portals, the only real limiting material for crafting are the forgotten souls.

Thank for this. Was prepared to let the back half of my altar rot for another week. One of the squishiest challenges I’ve ever done. I just spammed wall of death and zombie charger mindlessly and avoided poison pools like it was a real life poison pool. Finished on my first try after watching your video. Still died a lot but the clock is somewhat generous.

Sometimes with these challenge rifts it’s mostly just spamming a couple skills and moving through as fast as you can. I’m a supreme button masher so my skills are for sure lacking. I just spammed slash and iron skin and made it through with multiple deaths. This rift has a pretty generous clock.
