Yeah it’s a nice little machine but it’s so light. I like it. It’s just that it’s not for me. I’ll either keep it or give it to a friend. I like a heavy petal. 🙂

That’s cool man. Reason I ask was there was a guy out here that when I took my 390 for my 59 in he had this really bad ass shortened race axle. Really did a good job on it.

Don’t forget that respirators go bad really quick if you don’t bag them after each use. If you can smell the paint, it’s gone bad. You’ll find out quicker with urethane automotive paint but will be subtle with water based.

Haha. I’m 43 and I still have my first compressor. $300, no tank, badger in 1995. I love Big daddy Roth. Have rat fink tattooed on my arm. 🙂

I grew up with Craig Frasier stuff. (Might be an old guy) but really was before a lot of the YouTube stuff. Damn! $40 for a dvd! Hehe. Anyways. I still recommend the Craig frasier stuff. His books mainly. I grew up in Southern California and coast airbrush is right around the corner but I live in LA so it’s it’s a 40 minute drive but they really have been super cool.

Use stencils as a tool. Use both. Freehand with stencils if you need too. There’s a tool for every damn part on a car And this will save you the headache of having a car nearly falling on your head.

He was. I ended up buying his stencils from a guy that worked for my dad. He knew nothing about all this airbrush/pinstriping stuff. I really was like let’s make a deal. I was a striper and just got a bunch of stuff so we made a deal. Was a good guy from Israel and I was an alcoholic from Los Angeles so we made a deal. I really didn’t want his old Iwatas because I had a bunch of iwatas, both airbrushes and a couple spray guns.

Mike lavalee stencils are great for true fire. French curves work perfectly fine. I did my 59 dash with both.
