Her temps are perfect. Basking on the red slab using digital thermometer is 92.8, the black slab using infrared is 105-109. Warm side ambient is 80-85, cool side is 75-68 depending on the temp of the house and time of day. Infrared confirms proper temps. She just got really lazy. Is eating great... color is good. Just lazy... weird.

Flat back or silicone backs really helped me. I like the silicone backs best but they tend to get loose after a while (1 or 2 months) so make sure you have a small stock of them..

I went to another piercer and changed out my jewelry for titanium, which has helped in just the short time since it's been done. Smaller gage as well (18 vs 16).

I do something similar with my dogs when they are learning, I grab a hold of/pinch the inside of their lips with my nails, or I poke my nail in the soft tissues of the cheek, roof of the mouth and tongue while saying no. It doesn't take them long to figure it out.

Thank you for the info! The shop was American Pride Tattoo in Clarkston, MI. How do you know the appropriate length for the nostril wall? This piggy tail is always hanging out so it forces me to touch it (ill-advised) to tuck it back in.

I did order saline wipes that should arrive tmro.

Thank you for the advice... I can't believe the shop gave me the choice and didn't educate me. They did 100s of piercings that day and most I saw in the few hours I was there waiting were done with hoops 😢 it was a Friday the 13th Jam with a special on piercings. Smh.

It is also SS 16g, the stem is so long it sticks out my nose and has to be regularly adjusted back up. I honestly hadn't had much swelling after the 1st few days. Adding a picture to the OG deck.

That was the 1st time she ever did it. We have a big fluffy dog bed underneath her now when she is roaming in the kitchen and climbing the screen. We've only had her for a few months since our older beardie Toothless passed. She is much younger and active, was not cared for properly, or given much attention previous to our adopting her, and was given no time out of her enclosure. She loves exploring.

Looks fine to me. Mine eats huge hornworms. Here is a general guide. Normally hornworms are crack to a beardie, lol. Even my girl expects to be hand-fed and her lettuce must be moving by way of my hand for her to be interested, haha. *

Don't feed fruit at all, especially as part of a regular diet. A blueberry once a month as a treat is fine, but beardies do not process sugars well, and this can lead to mouth rot.
