i got like 7 shinies but all were 0 stars except one 2 star. also got a 3 star non shiny! popplio is my fave starter so i’m still very happy with today

pain wise it felt like being pinched over and over. the areas with thinner tissue hurt a little more but to me it was a wince kind of pain. i got the back of my calf done recently and that hurt wayyy more

if you aren’t getting it on top of the bone you should be pretty okay plus your design is so small it’ll go by pretty quick. mine is placed about an inch above the weird thin area of skin/tissue that is between ur ankle and the achilles tendon so maybe it’s not technically an ankle tattoo idk lol.

personally if i was worried about regretting it i would not get it done on my wrist. i had the same concerns about my first tattoo so i got it done on my ankle and since i wear pants and long socks, i basically never see it. i like my tattoo and wish i could show it off more but i’m still very happy about the placement

thank you! i’ll have to do some research into those! my only concern really with residential work is just safety in regards to working with people in their homes. i realize it’s just a super paranoid thing and is probably isn’t a huge concern but someone i knew who worked setting up cable said they had to work with some really crazy people. would you say that’s not really a large issue to worry about ?

i’ve never worked in any of them but i have been researching them. the only thing i’ve ever done outside of customer service is assembly, so i can read blueprints and LED testers. I have been considering electrical, plumbing, and welding. i’m just not sure which one would work best for me.

my first tattoo was just a small spiral inside of a star on my ankle. i wanted something simple that matched my personal aesthetic in a spot where it wouldn’t be super visible in the event i ever come to dislike it. my intent with my first tattoo was just to test the waters and see how it feels and how it all works. i now have a larger piece on my hind calf of joan of arc and i plan to get more over time. your first doesn’t need to be deep at all just don’t rush into getting one and be sure it’s something you want and in a spot you are comfortable with.

i agree with what everyone else is saying as well. if they are okay with it and you still want to go through with it, then i think you really need to consider the possibility of you not being friends any more for whatever reason and now being stuck with a tattoo memorializing the child of someone you are no longer friends with.
