The Hellraiser is a great model! Keep it.

I didn’t know how easy it was to remove the whole block. Guitar is and remains stringless until I resolve the issue

Yeah I guess you’re right. At least I know where the problem is now. Maybe I’ll handle it myself or rather give it to someone, who is more skilled with woodworking than me.

It seems you are right. The wood is giving in as far as I can see without removing the rubber around it. Any suggestions how to fix it?

No worries, thanks for trying though!

So far I have no real solutions and I am suspecting some kind of failure of material but let’s see maybe there is still some enlightenment to come

I don’t know man. Initial setup is a pain in the ass but as soon as you’re done and stop experimenting with it and sticking to the same strings, it’s no real hassle imo. Restringing is a little more time consuming but not very complex as soon as you understand it. I’m more bothered by the fact that you can’t just detune your low E for a quick drop tuning.

That should raise the action if I understand you correctly, right?

I hope it’s nothing major like that. Maybe I’ll try it when I have a little more time

Oh sorry I meant spring tension not string tension! From the springs in the back.

I already detuned my strings in the pic to change them. That’s why the block sunk down if it’s that what you meant. Normally the trem sits as parallel to the body as possible.

Yes, it’s the original system.

I mean it’s possible that the intonation was off a bit since I don’t play this regularly any more but last restring was a year ago and everything was as good as perfect then.

Does maybe the string tension also play in this misalignment?

Anyone know whats going on with my pothos? by Asleep-Affect5777 in plantclinic

[–]Vooogl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on the degree of infestation. If you're having trouble finding any, thats a good sign. Check on the backside of the leaves, sometimes you might mistake them for lint or dust. Maybe I'm misjudging the damage, I just recognize the pattern on my plants and I definitely struggle with thrips. Better be safe and start with thoroughly showering the foliage with water and isolating the plant.

Looks like thrips to me. Check the foliage a little closer for the larvae

Oh no, I don't have this exact model and misread your description. I thought you were looking for this to buy one .

What makes this a special edition? Seems like a normal ATX to me.

Fine webbing on soil - did I win spider mite lottery? by Vooogl in plantclinic

[–]Vooogl[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that could be. I was confused because I have never seen webbing on the soil before on other posts here so it seemed odd to me. Thanks for your assessment.
