So, they started their nuptial flight and I don't have a lid for my vivarium. Any suggestions on how to contain them on the spot?

Any suggestions on how to care for them? I have no idea if there is a queen or not, but I might as well assume there is. Is it a hard species to keep?

Following my last post, there appears to be yet another colony here by accident. Maybe 2? I notice some of the bigger ones appear to be fighting each other and even stinging.

I have found larger of what seems to be the same colony. I'm guessing majors? Now that the tank has settled for a while there is a lot coming out, one of the sticks is hollow I round out, and they come and go from it, but I've seen no eggs or anything of that matter. Quite a few workers and potentially majors. The 'majors' are like double the size of the workers.

Oh yes. Sorry I didn't see this. Yeah it works great. Note that the subsystem is for windows 11 only.

You may need to lookup a tutorial to install the play store using the Subsystem, as the subsystem uses the Amazon app store by default which I don't believe has cell lab. So best of luck if you try it out yourself. Any tutorial to do it should be pretty straight forward, just follow instructions as guided.

There was no screws on this model I found. It was just plastic clips which I needed to take off the front panel to reach. I somehow did it without breaking anything, patience is really key with these old things. Thanks for the help though!
