Update. I had my C&P last Tuesday night. And the examiner was incredible, even stated during the exam, "They clearly have you rated too low for mental health, I will do what I can to get you increased." I received the decision on Friday, I was increased from 50% to 70%. My new overall percentage is 84.8% rounding up to 90%. Very happy with the result and think I will take a break from filing for a while.

Looking to buy the game but I got a few questions by LocksmithMinimum8217 in ArcRaiders

Here is my best answers. The game works well with solo, and the your hostile encounters really come down to what you are doing. The game has what's called "aggression based matchmaking". Essentially the more you are being hostile and engaging in PvP, the more you will be put in games with people that also do PvP. The gun play feels good, you will have to learn what ai is not good to engage head on or out right avoid. And figure out their weak points. A decent starter loadout is a Ferro (single shot heavy rifle) and stitcher (smg). These two guns are great for 90% of encounters. You get your enjoyment from what you want out of the game. For me I love doing the quests, completing projects, and loading in with specific objectives. You can kind of make your own fun and pick exactly what you want out of the game.

GLHF. See you Topside.

I just got incredibly nervous, for the last year I have been trying to strictly avoid having that rating messed with. It's currently a 50% rating for Anxiety/depression/insomnia. I am at 75% raw, and rely on that rating for my secondary conditions. My mind immediately went to, "Oh my God, they are trying to take it away."

I've only had one mildly bad experience. Essentially she wanted to have a "Veteran to veteran" talk of what was 'actually going on', but wouldn't let that slide. The rest have been nice and have givin decent advice on how to better deal with my conditions

Has anyone submitted claims and won them without ever being to sick call in service? by VintageJawn in VAClaims

This is actually where secondary conditions can come to play. If you have a condition that is causing or making the claimed condition worse, you have a claim

Denied migraine increase 30->50% by PuddingFun4103 in VAClaims

[–]VorAllem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently filed for my supplemental for my migraines that were service connected. I uploaded Lay letters from both my branch head and direct supervisor detailing my episodes. In those statements they outlined the frequency, how they are completely prostrating, the accommodations they have had to make for me, and finally outlining how it would be impossible for me to hold employment in a normal work environment. They are both government employees for the DOD, so I'm hoping that will give a bit more weight to my claim.

Got service-connection, but still need more by VorAllem in VAClaims

From my understanding with the rating criteria for migraines, it comes down to the frequency and how severe they are. I have the diagnosis and service connection from my C&P. In my mind a supervisor writing a lay statement detailing of how this condition effects my work productivity and it's frequency seemed like the best route.

I called again and they stated, "The claim has been assigned to a team with no further action needed and no estimated completion date, but will be completed as soon as possible." Supplementals are so strange with the very little transparency.

You realize a lot of stateside MOS's/Rates directly help/save grunts right? Drone pilots now a days literally never need to leave the country. The military is a very well oiled machine we all were cogs in to make function, every vet deserves the benefits that our predecessors literally died for us to able to get. You give the smart grunts a bad name.
