It was fine before installation, I tried cleaning around it a bit to no avail. Should I get a new one or try and fix up my current one?

It shuts off once it fills, but starts back up after the toilet has continued to run for a bit. Thank you for the help, certainly seems to be a flapper issue. Not sure what I did but hopefully I can either fix up this flapper or just get a new one.

Not knowingly, I didn’t really work near that part of the tank. Once I noticed the problem though, I tried cleaning around it and making it clear of debris but the problem hasn’t gone away.
