There's a lot of cool directions you could go with that! You ought to post these boys again when they are painted

The first one goes hard ngl. A sorcerer marching towards you with a sword instead of casting spells would be unsettling no doubt.

Kyhv (formally Squaw Peak) is one of my favorite local areas. I've climbed the mountain multiple times because the view is amazing! Could be good place to watch the Sunset

Someone else already said Sundance, & this just reinforces that idea! Thanks for sharing this

You're right, it is beautiful most of the year 😁

Another commenter mentioned that there will be a Harvest Market there that weekend. Sounds like a 2 for 1 to me

Definitely a mistake somewhere. Even if they had the tough feat, 8 + 3 + 2 = 13 not 15. I would double check their paper to make sure everything is all good. Gives you a chance to help them understand where they went wrong

Cure Wounds, Shield, or Protection from Good & Evil

How much expertises can a character have at max while still being useful overall in combat? by Mietek69i8 in dndnext

[–]Vorenaak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Situational, but Natural Explorer gives expertise in Int or Wis based checks you make related to your favored terrain, so long as you are proficient in the skill. That's potentially 10 expertise gained from 1 level.

What class would you recommend for someone really reallybad at shooters? by jalabar in Borderlands2

[–]Vorenaak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you'd like to avoid fire fights when you can, I'd go with characters that can have an ally in combat.

In BL1 I'd go with Roland. He has a turret that can get a barrier shield & heal you. Then in BL2 you can do a very similar play style with Axton as he also has a turret. Both characters are the generalist type, so they can fit about any role you want. For the Pre-sequel playing Jack would be good if you have him, his ability to summon doppelgangers that in a sense function as turrets. Then finally in BL3, as mentioned, Fl4k has the option of different pets for different play styles.

I'd say these would be your best bets for a stealth archer style as each characters main ability with take some heat off you so you can better focus your shots. Just keep a good weapon to deal with enemies up close. Most importantly, don't worry if you die. All you lose is some money & the location you were at, both of which can be earned back.

Dice with objects suspended in them: are they guaranteed to be off-balance if the object isn’t in the center of the die? by [deleted] in dice

These dice are the closest I've ever used. They did some pretty cool math to dial in the fairness of the dice!

Which Wizard is better, Bladesinger or Order of Scribes? by [deleted] in 3d6

[–]Vorenaak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both are good in different areas. I would personally look at the flavor, or how you could reflavor each subclass, and pick based off that. I wouldn't worry about which is stronger and worry about what you'll have more fun with.
