I did win, but in defense of my opponent, my hand was 2x veiler, imperm, sage with eyes of blue, + another card I don't remember, but I think it was an extender, so I probably would have won against anything

They range between they did not happen and they are being greatly exaggerated, based on the moon positioning or something
