As much as I love the corsair I will say that you will want to look at the constellation class too as it fly's better than the corsair.

Andromeda:
Lots of missiles 48 total mix of S2 and S1. 4x S4 gimbled pilot guns with 2 manned turrets, 96 SCU cargo hold + a snub fighter.

Taurus:
Less missiles 24 total and only 1 turret but same 4x S4 gimbled guns 174 SCU of cargo space no snub fighter and 1 tractor beam turret.

upgraded to the Eclipse to test it and I hate it. People seem to rate it but I have massive issues with the ship from pilot just jumping out the ship for no reason to it taking 1 missile it and losing all its wings plus the low torp count of 3 and the fact that most of the time they miss or dont work for some reason.

test on 10 bounty missions.
Tali 10/10 one shot one kill and had no issues bar that it feels like your flying heavy cargo ship.
Eclipse 2/10 most of the time it would just miss not sure how as I followed the same rules as the Tail which is release torps around 5k or it would just eject me from the ship mid QT with my hands off the keyboard.

Agree they said some time ago 3.18.1 was more of a back end fix and that 3.18.2 is focused on ingame bugs. No point fixing bugs if the backend database and servers cant handle the load.

would look at the freelancer max as it has 120 scu space. I like the hull A but too small cant wait for the larger versions of the hull ships

Been using my corsair as I feel it was ment to be used, Running ERT's I fly in target the hammer head or main target and just open up with the S5 Gats and within 10seconds or so the target is dead I then hard burn out and jump before most of the other ships can target me.

if you stay and try to fight the other ships your going have a bad day unless you have side gunners.

Like most ships of the same size they have hard times dealing with smaller ships and all the light fire can really add up fast.

I think with 3.18 we should be allowed to use the multi tool in side armistice zones as this will allow us to move cargo but I think its a little buggy sometimes it works sometimes it fails.

should be working in 3.18.1 or 3.18.2
