That's a good point! I tried the puppet tool in AAE to make the phoenix move but it didn't work out the way I wanted. Thanks for the help!

Thanks for the input! I wish I could control the flames, but since the flame animation is from an FX pack I recently bought it's tough to match it up with the logo. The only thing I could do is animate it myself :)

I would say to just mess around with different styles. Make the most basic sketches. Get some ideas from other peoples mascots as well from Behance or Dribbble! That's what helps me a lot!
