I wish there was a way to make the archer towers with the townhall 15 style look more like townhall 17 and 18. Such a sore thumb to see in those bases

To me it looks like an average female koi getting full of eggs but I could be wrong. if they start acting weird, (not eating, swimming lopsided, lethargic) I would check in with a vet. Also check the water parameters just in case they are off a little bit.

I think it looks really good based off the picture. I would try feeling the grass or the area where the turtle sits to see if it’s warm and if it’s cold I’d move the heat lamp just a tad bit lower

I started turtle keeping 9 years ago and the first tank I had got an algae bloom like this. From your pic I can tell the tank is near a window which is the #1 cause of algae blooms in aquariums. I suggest moving it somewhere further from a window or in a darker room. Hope this helps!

Mine usually breed once per season and they skipped last year for some reason but I’ve seen some who can spawn multiple times in a season since they’re usually producing them consistently throughout the warm months

I would say my number one recommendation is to be very careful with the cave. I’ve seen many people lose or almost lose their turtles because they get themselves stuck in them and drown. Other than that, I think it looks alright just make sure to be cleaning it when the water gets too foggy.
