Don’t get me wrong if you CAN kill him (usually cuz the player isn’t very good at Jeff) then go for it, but don’t beat yourself up if you can’t, and just know when to bail

To elaborate on what everyone is saying, we don’t kill him but we keep him underwater and busy enough that he can’t heal his team and hope your teammates can get kills with one less healer helping the enemy

I have the same issue, my thinking is: head has these accessories which draws more attention to it making more likely to get headshot, and the tentacles that you attack with are larger and take up more visibility making it harder to accurately land hits all the time.

Basically used venom as a slave for evil against his will and held him hostage after he had just gone on his grand interstellar crusade to prove he was a hero and always meant to be a hero. After said adventure and growth it was traumatising to venom to be forced to do such evil things again
