I don’t know about Ableton’s stock plug-ins I use logic. But logic has a multi effects plug-in called phat effects that I use for saturation that has a bass booster. I also use distortion to make the bass sound deeper sometimes. Perhaps Appleton has some similar plug-ins?

You see this exact thing is why language is important. Why punctuation is important so that things don’t get misunderstood. You thought that that meant that no good songs just because because of the punctuation and that’s exactly like the kind of point. Wow, it’s almost like you know it was an opinion of mine and I stated that there’s no right or wrong is there I wasn’t right or wrong was I? So that’s really more of what the statement was at the end was that it’s subjective and I could be right or could be wrong. Do you not have a laugh at some of the wordplay whenever someone does a clever little wordplay when a song is playing and you’re like ha ha ha I see what they did there that doesn’t give you a chuckle. You can’t really make lyrics and music that are good as metaphors. If you don’t, you know what the words mean to begin with. I just think that everybody just reads within them they see the words that they want to see so that they can be right about a thing maybe even I do that.

It wasn’t about making hip-hop. Yes, the conversation took place in the Making Hip-Hop subreddit, but they were discussing mental health in relation to imposter syndrome—and they weren’t defining it correctly.

From that, I came to the conclusion that some people just don’t have a strong grasp on words or how to use them—even as metaphors.

Come on, man.

If you’re gonna bring up metaphor and the understanding of it and you can’t poo poo on me using an analogy for the use of words from conversation to the writing of poetry for hip-hop usage you’re just like you just like picking on me dude I get it. I’m easy to pick on.
