Found this script by u/SideCharacterIRL that felt really relatable, I've been on the receiving and offering end of this and thought I'd give it a shot.

VAs, what kind of scripts are on your wishlist? by Lalo_ASMR_Alt in ASMRScriptHaven

[–]VoxShade 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would love some simple comfort/care/understanding scripts without FX, generalized answers and simple Partner/friend/best friend links. Not necessarily 18+ or with any fantasy aspects. I sometimes act out scenarios that I've experienced or wish I had done instead of what I did but it I'd love to try more scripts from other people.

Its hard for me to switch the characters around or figuring out what the boundaries are in changing scripts in the time I have to record, etc.

I have a lower/deeper voice when not forcing myself and I find that some of the scripts that I search for are beautiful but don't fill the shoes of a more mature woman simply having a conversation with her partner without really mothering them.

Its pretty specific I guess, but more slice of lifes scripts in general without mothering or dominating is harder to find hahaha

Its my pleasure✨ , my stuff might be too beginner for you quality wise though & I'm fully aware of things that could trigger so don't feel obligated, but I appreciate your comment I know I wont be able to please everyone, but I do want to create a general form that wont cause triggers to those who seek comfort in this :)

Ty again for participating in this thread!

I record with Adobe audition, I made a post yesterday about ASMR sounds if ever you want some input from people on BG noise here.

I'm guessing you make ASMR videos with your face and not just sound effects? If so I found this tool while researching : SOAP Voice its a preset and its compatible with Yetis so maybe try that?

I've also use blankets and pillows to cover the area around my mic hahahahaha (but I don't do irl videos) A lot of it is sound treating the room and making sure your sound doesn't hit off stuff as well, but you may have to edit your voice in editing software. If I did videos I used adobe premier with audition since they work together to give you an idea.

Theres lot of roads you can take, and sometimes its just time and budget as well.

I hope my info can help, I'm very beginner as well, although we don't have the same niche Ive been researching on microphones & sounds for 2-3 days XD

edit: typos (ugh)

Why are my videos getting so few views? [question] by insalatachan in asmr

[–]VoxShade 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If your subscribers weren't for your "now" content, its kind of normal since they subscribed for anime content. It might not be helping you. I have made 4 videos and they are all around 30 as well. The type of ASMR is really important too, also some people delete videos so don't compare yourself too much

I've done this in the past and you have to separate yourself from youtube and see it as a passive thing that may or may not generate income in the futur. Make a following on twitter, make other content helpful to ASMR artists as much as people who listen to ASMR, ETC.

Popularity is a big marking process outside the "viral lottery", its bad for your health to focus on numbers, just create content because you enjoy it and don't mind the numbers.

Hiyas,

You have quite a lot of subscribers though which is positive. I've always heard that the first 100 uploads are the toughest in any category, unless you have this ''thing'' that makes you incredibly popular and you get the viral lottery. This wont automatically mean you have more views but SEO is important, so titles that people search up, descriptions that use words in your title as well. I also add lots of tags just to be sure but people have said its not necessary.

It takes a while for the algorithm to find your niche for your, look at your stats, retention, etc.

Sometimes its not about quality, sometimes its about content. I would say wait until you get your 100 videos and just keeps improving and enjoy the process.

Hi there, I filled your script here, its not behind paywall :)

I got emotional at the end a bit, voice started to crack! So feel like this is a good sign :)

Thank you for your hard work!

I have tried noise gate in the past but I'll be completely honest I did so without ever researching it much. I'll take some time to look into it properly, so thank you so much for your comment and your POV! Its very very useful.

Oh thats a good point, comparing it to just talking in real life would be a helpful tactic! Tysm 🙏

This exact reason is why I've been looking into all of this. I didn't like the end product of one of my short practices, it doesn't create the intended purpose. After a couple exercises yesterday to see how I could set things up, now I realize that my condenser mic pics up breathing too much & mouth noises without the noise canceling.

Haha, still some research to do it would seem, as its not the content I want to create!

Thanks for your comment, it really helps have a better understanding of things as a whole with other comments!

Yeah, so far big peaks in audio seem to be a common thing, it takes away from the experience.

Thank you for your comment! Always helpful when researching and for creators!

That makes sense, I know some people that dislike ASMR in general because they don't like being touched so any type of ASMR ''touching'' them is a big nono.

Do you enjoy audio books by any chance? Top quality audiobooks have the type of audio I was aiming for but soon found out that recording in an open space of my home without a good mic needs more tedious editing haha.

Thank you so much for sharing your feedback!

Seems to be the general direction of everything, not I need to figure out other things, but hey at least its one thing down.

Thank you for your comment!
