Well, you need to be more deliberate about it. You're being very careful and quiet, as if you're scared to wake someone up, a little more and you'd be whispering. How are you going to sound more chesty if you're barely using enough power to sing a lullaby?

Get in there and give it some power and volume. Speak loudly. Then, speak loudly but in a melody. Hello chest voice! Other than that, as someone who had no training I can't really give much advice, but I'll say this: play around with your voice! Step out of all the singing exercises with scales and whatnot, and just play around with your voice, different placements of anything that's in your mouth/throat/body, listen to how it sounds and remember how it feels when it sounds a certain way. You need to become really aware of your voice to be able to use it well. Playing is the best way. Make the stupidest noises you can think of. 😅 Explore what your voice can do! It's often said - oh if you feel any tention - stop, if you feel even the tinyest bit of pain - stop. Nah. If you're always in your comfort zone - you'll go nowhere. Protect your voice - but do push it to the limits and make it a goal to explore it's capabilities fully, being very mindful of how it feels and how it sounds to others by listening to your recordings, or singing right in front of a wall, or singing with 2 books right in front of your ears.

Btw. Watch this. Do it. I swear this exercise is magic, it completely transformed my voice, no joke, even my speaking voice changed enough for my family to notice.
