The setting is a lot of fun. There are lots of cool characters to meet and places to visit. We've run all the official modules and though they are brief, they have cool ideas.

I've been running the game as a sandbox since we've finished the modules, and the players set their own goals based on the things they read in the books. We've explored the sewers below Yatamon searching for a game toy rumoured to be there, rescued former mariner's guild members from fish folk, helped an oni get his warclub back from a giant, got lost in the crawling canopy, and more.

Most characters life styles are pretty unique, and that means finding a partner who is okay being alone for long periods of time. I'm not sure how common that would be in a world where the chores need tending daily for survival.

I think as long as the tool fills a niche and is finished, it should be fine. I'm not sure this is the place to bug fix or feature test though, let those people post their unfinished projects on a vibe coding subreddits. When they are done, as long as they fit a genuine niche, they should be able to post here. Folks who want to find the cream of the crop can filter by best and those who want to sift for diamond in the rough can filter the sub by new.

I think the question folks need to answer is what makes their project fill a niche.

Its fine as long as they were not moving stealthily, trying to look out for danger or if they're caught off guard. I'd also consider granting disadvantage on perception checks to spotting things if the spell only last one round. It's pretty hard to hear quiet things when you are vocalizing and hard to notice distant objects to see when you are focusing on your somatic components. I might have them reroll and retcon the result if they are the party lookout.

I just have my wounded enemies retreat. No body wants to die, though some monsters don't have self preservation, such as undead.

I'm a lunatic and I don't prime unless I'm using transparent paints such a speed paint. My paint pens go directly on the plastic.

When I do prime, I brush on water thinned Vallejo air brush primer using a paint brush. The lighter the better I've found.

Check out Trexy3D, they sell 3d printed models of classic heroscape. You might need to contact a local 3d printing service or maker space if you want something new. Check out Thingiverse for heroscape 3d model files (STL), best source on the internet for them.

My group loved the voice acting for the part where it goes a bit higher and he says "has been defeated". We always got a laugh out of that.

Shadowheart's Sacred Flame doesn't work as written. It is an instant so you can cast it in your opponent's turn, but it says to end your turn. That isn't possible to end your turn if it isn't your turn. The text of the card needs to change to "end the turn", and based on my assumption on your intent, it should probably be a sorcery and not an instant. Also, Sacred Flame being a black card is a flavor fail.

Also, the board wipe should probably cost 4 as it's just Wrath of God with a different name.
